- Alice T. - Richfield, Ohio, United States
I'm a philosophy major currently studying classical and hellenistic philosophy. I hope to carry on to a PhD in either the classics or applied philosophy when I finish my BA in a year or two. I am currently doing research on devotionals and the shift between the classical and the hellenistic era towards more personal statues v. devotionals in the images of the Gods. I'm new to actively practicing Hellenistic Reconstruction; however, I have been studying the religion for a few years simply because of my interest in the classical era philosophy. I do not have a particular deity I feel attached to, at least not yet, and so I make an effort to respect and acknowledge as many Gods as have touched my life.

- Briar - Ashburn, Virginia, United States
I'm 23 years old. I've been some form of pagan for about a dozen years (since I decided as a child that it was sad no one worshipped the Greek gods and so I should do it), and Hellenic since March of '06. I consider myself a Hellenic Modernist - learning from what the Reconstructionists put together - with a particular relationship with Hermes.
- Brooke - NS, Florida, United States
I don't have a patron god or goddess (at the moment), but I am close to Dionysos, Aphrodite, and especially Selene who may or may not wish to have a patron relationship with me. I'm not sure yet. =p I'm also persuing a deeper relationship with the Muses, as I intend to have a career in writing. I am an 18 year old college student living in Florida. I intend to persue a career in writing, and perhaps one day move to Greece or Finland. Anywhere remote. =p I'm obsessed with music and literature; my favorite band at present is H.I.M. and my favorite book Epicetus' Discourses.

I'm writing a book about worshiping Athena in a modern context: Under Her Aegis. I consider myself both a Witch and a Hellenic Reconstructionist, which often ruffles feathers. I'm in a long term polyfideltous relationship with two lovely people, one of whom, Laurelei, has gained notoriety as an author and a Priestess of Aphrodite. We run a small publishing company called Asteria Books. We live in Central Indiana with our two black cats. Basically I am a young guy looking for fellow people to worship and understand the Gods better. I was part of some Generic Pagan groups before but they lack a certain understanding how serious I am about my Gods and my reverence to them. Athene has been a big part of my life even before I discovered her as a real deity. Despite a lot of pagans coming from christian backgrounds I was more or less raised agnostic. I have ADHD. And I am eneged to a wonderful woman.

To me, nature and psyche are identical. I believe the gods and goddesses are vital to all life. Everybody works out their own soul’s path though. I am not a hard polytheist, but I believe in the power of ritual and how it allows us to form relationships with that which is higher than ourselves, more all-encompassing than our everyday experiences. Hellenismos really appeals to me – the concept of kharis is beautiful and the Greek myths have been with me since childhood. I am particularly drawn to Hermes, Artemis, Pan, Apollo, Dionysus and Psyche. Gods and goddesses are real – it’s just the nature of that reality that remains a mystery to me. My way of being with this is to explore psyche’s realm. Another way is to explore a realm of the gods that is independent of the human psyche. Always though, the gods are still there!

Age: 26. Having found Hellenismos a few years ago I have felt closer to the Gods and many other aspects of my life. I have found guidance from a number of Them and have developed relationships with some more than others, including Dionysos, Hekate, Aphrodite and Pan. Despite still feeling new to it all I am constantly attempting to better myself as a worshipper of the Gods. I would say I am a semi-reconstructionist, learning from the past in order to bring my worship into the light of today.

I also work with Bast since I have a houseful of kitties (5). I'm married and we just got our first house in May 2010, so can't wait for spring so I can do some things outside and have a small garden and try to put together an altar outside in the back. I definitely want to learn more and get myself more involved in my Hellenic beliefs.

I am somewhat new to Hellenic Polytheism as a spiritual path as I have only been concentrating on it for the last 6 months or so. My background has been primarily based around Artemis as my patron deity since my youth - it just happened that only somewhat recently did I discover modern worship of the Hellenic pantheon. I went through several spiritual paths to find this one, generally attempting to incorporate Artemis in some form, before finding this path - which is, of course, the most obvious one for Her. So, now I am trying to get more active in the Hellenic pagan community, which has led me to not only start a Y!group called "se_hellenes" (Southeast Hellenes), but to also work towards setting up a local ritual group. I look forward to meeting more Hellenic Polytheists, both in my area and elsewhere!

I'm 23 years old, fairly new to Hellenic Polytheism. I'm not sure if I have patron deities, but I have always been drawn to Artemis and Apollo. Lately I feel close to Demeter and Persephone as well.

I've been Hellenic for nearly 20 years though only recently embraced Reconstructionism. I am a servent of Hera and Aristaeus. I am also developing a relationship with Athena. My husband is a beekeeper and I process the honey and wax in honor of Aristaeus. I often lecture on Pagan religions at the local community college and Pagan stores in my area.

Hello there, I hail from Orlando, FL. I have been a Pagan for over 20 years, and tend to follow Poseidon, Hermes, and Dionysos. My interests include witchcraft, tarot, astrology, science, mythology and of course Hellenismos.

Just recently started researching reconstuctionism and following. If anyone knows good websites/literature to further knowledge, email me. Patron: Poseidon.

Patron Deity: Artemis. My beliefs were once so varying in any religion and it is only through my belief in the Hellenic Deities, specifically but not exclusively Artemis, that I have discovered who I am. Who I will be, and where I belong. (Sounds quite whimsical I know, yet true all of the same). My website: http://lycaea.projectepsilon.net/.

Follower of Athena. I'm new to Hellenismos, and taking things slow, but I'm getting there!

I have been on the pagan path for 11 years, am very eclectic and new to Hellenismos. I am exploring and drawn to Apollon, Artemis, Aphrodite and the Nymphai especially. I have also a new interest in understanding and exploring Medusa as a protector/guardian. I am being steered onto a deep shamanistic path exploring many facets of shamanism at this time as well.

Patron Deities: Demeter, Hermes. I am a Hellenic polytheist, an equestrian, a struggling gardener, an avid reader, a good cook, a retired homeschool mom, a teacher, and a perpetual student. I am endlessly curious about the world, the universe and everything.

I'm fairly easygoing about my religious practice, but I try to keep a certain historical fidelity in mind. I'd love to meet likeminded locals. No patrons, but particularly interested in Artemis, Athena, Hekate, Hermes, Apollo, Dionysos, Persephone, & the Mousai

Hekate is the mighty goddess on whose cosmic hem I hang. A great deal of my spiritual journey has been a transformative, winding road toward Her mysteries. I originally began studying and practicing Hellenic polytheistic reconstructionism in order to grow closer to Her. I joined Neokoroi to honor the Gods, serve the community, and network with others who hold similar beliefs. My wanderings and the wonders I see can be found at http://wanderingwomanwondering.wordpress.com

Patron Deities: Zeus, Apollon and Pan. I have been a practicing Pagan since 2000 and a Hellenic Polytheist since 2002. I run a semi-public space for my Patrons and hold regular rituals both for groups and solitary.

I am a worshiper of Apollo, and have set myself the tasks of writing Him a book of poetry and establishing a temple in His honor. I read my poems at open mikes; they are collected here. I also honor Hekate and Aphrodite. My hero is Lykourgos of Sparta.

I'm a 24 year old male Hellenic Reconstructionalist and have solidly been practicing for a bit over a year now. I've reached a level of personal confidence where I'm ready to get involved with the larger community. I'm heavily involved in historical research at the moment and am practically devouring books. Feel free to contact me! I'd love to hear about others' experiences in Hellenism.

I am a Hellenic polytheist, though not currently considering myself a complete recon. However, working to incorporate much of that into my lifestyle. I have a close relationship with a few, but strive to build that with the others as well.

My Patron Deities are Apollo and Aretemis. I've been Hellenic on and off since about 2002, but only seriously for the past couple of years. I'm an Environmental Science student, with the nature aspect of that relating with my patrons and their associations. You can find me online at www.facebook.com/xaphriel
