I’m a philosophy major currently studying classical and hellenistic philosophy. I hope to carry on to a PhD in either the classics or applied philosophy when I finish my BA in a year or two. Hellenismos really appeals to me â the concept of kharis is beautiful and the Greek myths have been with me since childhood. I am somewhat new to Hellenic Polytheism as a spiritual path as I have only been concentrating on it for the last 6 months or so. My background has been primarily based around Artemis as my patron deity since my youth – it just happened that only somewhat recently did I discover modern worship of the Hellenic pantheon. I went through several spiritual paths to find this one, generally attempting to incorporate Artemis in some form, before finding this path – which is, of course, the most obvious one for Her. So, now I am trying to get more active in the Hellenic pagan community, which has led me to not only start a Y!group called “se_hellenes” (Southeast Hellenes), but to also work towards setting up a local ritual group.
